You could happily never leave the farm, but if you do, some of the best of the Chilterns is a short walk or drive away. From Whipsnade Zoo to the huge skies of Dunstable Downs, here's what's nearby.
5 min drive
One of the country's biggest zoos, just five minutes by car or a half-hour walk across the fields. A brilliant day out for all ages.
On foot
Walk straight off the farm and up onto the Downs, the highest point in Bedfordshire, for kite-flying, picnics and views for miles.
From your pitch
Miles of farm pathways and Chiltern woodland lead straight from your tent, with red kites wheeling overhead.
Walkable
This proper country pub is a ten-minute walk from your pitch, on Common Road in Kensworth, perfect for a lazy lunch or an evening pint. A couple of other village pubs are close by too.
Short drive
A little further afield, the town of Tring and the National Trust's Ashridge Estate make a lovely day out.
5 min drive
Five minutes away for supermarkets, farm shops and anything you forgot to pack.
