Welcome to the farm
A proper escape into the Bedfordshire countryside, where the pitches are simple, the skies are big, and the pace is exactly as slow as you want it.
The setting
New Green End Farm sits on a real working farm deep in the Chiltern Hills National Landscape, between the villages of Kensworth and Whipsnade. Grass pitches are kept simple and set well back from the road, wrapped in woodland and open fields, so the loudest thing you'll hear is birdsong.
Explore
Walk straight out onto the Dunstable Downs, watch red kites wheel overhead, or take the short hop to Whipsnade Zoo. There are miles of farm pathways to wander, with sheep and alpacas for company and a couple of good pubs within strolling distance.
Slow down
Light a campfire, fire up the barbecue, and watch the sun drop behind the fields. Dogs are part of the family here, and with hot showers and a communal kitchen with fridge and freezer, it's camping made comfortable.
"Peaceful, spacious and beautifully rural. Red kites overhead, a walk to the pub, and exactly the escape we needed."
