Good to know

The questions we’re asked most about staying at the farm.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are very welcome, up to three per pitch. We just ask that they are kept on a lead around the site and under control near the farm animals.

When are you open?

Our camping season runs from 1 May to 30 September each year.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 11am and check-out is by 10am.

Do the pitches have electric hook-ups?

Our motorhome and campervan pitches have electric hook-ups. The grass tent pitches are non-electric, back-to-basics camping.

Can we have a campfire?

Yes, campfires and BBQs are welcome as long as they are raised off the grass in a fire pit or brazier.

Is there WiFi?

No, we are a proper back-to-basics farm campsite and switching off is part of the charm. Mobile signal is generally fine for the odd message.

What facilities are on site?

Toilets, hot showers, drinking water, a shared camp kitchen with a fridge and freezer, a washing-up area, and a vending machine. There is no shop or cafe on site.

Where is the nearest shop?

Dunstable is about five minutes away by car for supermarkets and anything you have forgotten to pack.

How far is Whipsnade Zoo?

Just five minutes by car, or around a 30-minute walk across the fields.

Where exactly are you?

On Common Road in Kensworth, near Dunstable, in the Chiltern Hills between Kensworth and Whipsnade. The postcode is LU6 2PN.

How do I book?

Online, right here on our website. Booking direct with us is always the best price.

Is there parking?

Yes, you can park right beside your pitch.

What types of pitch do you offer?

Non-electric grass tent pitches, electric motorhome and campervan pitches, and ready-pitched bell tents for glamping.

Is it good for families?

Very. There is masses of space for children to roam and play, with sheep, alpacas and red kites for company on a peaceful working farm.
